School & Youth Groups Visits
There is so much for children to discover about the history of Linlithgow, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots.
Discover how the town has changed over the decades as industries have come and gone, and see the changing landscape as the town has grown from a village to a thriving 21st century town.
Group visits by schools and youth groups are very welcome.
Guided Tours, school education packs and activities appropriate to each age group are provided free of charge.
As a new addition to our education programme we are offering an interactive workshop which takes children back to life in Linlithgow during WW1 and is based on the experiences of a real Linlithgow family. Through wearing costumes, handling artefacts and craft work we aim to offer an experience which is both educational and enjoyable.
The Patio area of the Garden is available for picnic lunches.
